Human life is a priceless gift of God. This gift has been given to us to fulfill divine goals. But it is our misfortune that we have forgotten our divine nature, the gift of God and the goal/importance of human life. Neither do we know our divine potential, nor the goal, knowledge or meditation of God. We are wandering too far in this dark, gloomy world.
Human life is a priceless gift of God. There is no greater gift from the Lord to give to His beloved beings. Its features and capabilities are so extraordinary that its results can only amaze us. This oblivion is strange. People generally forget things and also what they read, heard etc. A person we knew in the past is now a stranger to us, because we have forgotten him. But hardly anyone can be found who forgets himself. We consider ourselves to be the body of name and form. We want what our mind wants, we see the needs of the body as our own needs. Body and mind are the two wheels of the chariot of our life. But we have completely forgotten that we are soul not body. No doubt we hear time and again that the body is different from the soul. But it is very rare that one actually experiences this fact. And even if we experience it, it happens very faintly. If we understand the difference between true reality and the life-force and external devices that manifest in our consciousness, we will give prime importance to the well-being of the soul. We will give as much importance to material things as is necessary. Today we walk with no shoes on and decorate our cars with gold frills. We are starving and giving ghee to vehicles. "Hum" means soul and vehicle means body or mind. Jehovah is serving his servants. It is really strange that he has forgotten his responsibility.
achieving the goal of the soul
The goal of life is to achieve self-satisfaction. This axiomatic state can happen only at the level of divinity. One must concentrate the mind to attain God. Before the construction of important buildings, their maps, plans and models are prepared. An engineer, architect etc. will build the buildings based on these models. An image of the Lord in His qualities, activities and nature is done for the purpose of meditation. As a result one experiences a feeling of closeness, oneness and oneness with God. This is the true nature of meditation.
The goal of true meditation is to regain our lost memory of our true nature. If one retrieves it, it is certainly like a man coming out of a very frightening dream. Only then does one experience a situation like a child lost in a huge crowd or like a person who has lost the memory of his identity. Those who go through such pain suffer great loss and hurt their loved ones. Since we have lost our memory (that we are not the body but the mighty soul), our condition is like being raised as a baby lion in a family of goats. As a result we are tormenting our true nature, which is divinity.
The goal of meditation yoga is to remove memory loss, that is, to awaken the fact that we are souls, not bodies. In that one remembers the Lord and he experiences the nature of his soul. The memory of the union of a Jiva (Jiva) and Ishvara (Brahmin) gets activated again and there is an experience, that this same divine power connection was broken by us, is actually our Mother Goddess and benefactor. Not only this, but like a wish fulfilling cow (Kamdhenu), it is so powerful that drinking its nectar milk gives us divinity. One can achieve anything by sitting in the shade of a wish fulfilling tree (Kalpavriksha). After making contact, coming closer to that divine center, there is no dearth of anything and thus we can remove all kinds of poverty. Thus the yoga of meditation helps us to achieve this goal.
concentration
Getting divine powers is not a big deal. It should be protected from any kind of wastage and should never be misused. The benefit of receiving divine powers comes when they are gathered in a safe place and used only for holy works.
As a result of the heat, much of the water in the oceans turns into steam. How much steam rises into the atmosphere from cooking gas, fire etc. It all goes to waste. But a little bit of water turns into steam in an engine. This steam is not allowed to wander into the atmosphere and is actually collected in a tank. Later its energy flow through a small hole reaches the piston. As a result of this small process, the train engine starts working. Not only does it move but it also moves at a very high speed. Its speed is so powerful that it pulls many other coaches with it at high speed.
If tons of gunpowder is spread on the ground and lit with a matchstick, it will show little light for a moment and then burn to ashes. This is a total waste and is of no use to us. But this limitless ammo produces amazing results if it is engulfed in a small area of a gun and by slightly depressing the trigger, the spark of fire touches the gunpowder. The bullet hits its target with great speed. Wherever he lands, he drops that object. Thus the difference between burning tons of gunpowder with a matchstick and burning a minute amount of gun powder in a gun on the other hand can be clearly noted.
The rays of sunlight are scattered all over the earth. Every day the sun rises and then sets in the evening. This sunlight can only give us a little warmth and light. But if some of the sun's rays are focused on the paper by using a special lens, the paper starts burning. If it is dumped in a huge forest, there is a fire in the forest which turns the whole area to ashes.
During Draupadi's swayamvara (choosing a groom for herself), the condition of marrying her was that the prospective groom should pierce the eye of a bird placed at some distance from the arrow. Dronacharya was helping his students to master this art. Before his students fired arrows, Dronacharya would ask them what they were seeing. The average student will say that there is a bird watching on the tree. As a result Dronacharya declared that such students would never be successful. When Arjuna's turn came, he replied that I can only see the bird's eye and nothing else. Thus Dronacharya declared that Arjuna would surely succeed. In Draupadi's swayamvar ceremony, Arjuna pierced the bird's eye with a single arrow and thus married Draupadi.
It is said that a flying creature called a buzzing bee grabs a caterpillar and keeps buzzing in front of it. As a result of constantly listening to the buzz of the bee and imagining the form of the bee, the mental state of the caterpillar becomes like that of a bee. The caterpillar thinks of itself as a buzzing bee. As a result, the caterpillar's body takes on the shape of a buzzing bee instead of an adult butterfly. Zoologists may doubt this but it is a definite fact that whenever man concentrates his mind on a particular name and form, his mind also adopts the name, form and characteristics of that object. As a result of her focus on beauty and youth, a prostitute largely regains her beauty even at an advanced age. On the other hand, many young men and women look old because their mind is always thinking of difficulties and dire situations. It is all a result of focusing our attention on a particular good/bad idea. It can be intentional or unintentional.
Spiritual concentration means stopping the mind from wandering from its center and having concentrated its divine powers on a central focal point, it should be used only for sacred endeavors. This is called the control of the mind or the focus of the mind in spiritual texts. There is a lot of discussion about Yoga of Meditation. It should be understood as the art of concentrating the mind. When we hear about it, its success sounds mediocre but in reality it is a great achievement. When one has mastered this art, one can concentrate his scattered conscious energy in one place and use it for some sacred purpose and thus achieves astonishing success.
Water is filled in dams. But when it is pulled out of a small opening, a stream of it flows at the speed of the brake neck due to the water pressure generated by the dam. There is extraordinary energy in this flow. Its effect helps in the movement of the wheels of many machines and as a result these machines start moving. Huge power stations are built near huge dams. Generating electricity using engines and machines is very expensive but hydroelectricity operates cheaply near dams. Near the small springs, you have water mills. The resulting energy is not due to the stream of water but due to its concentration. By concentrating a wider area on a smaller area, you generate electricity.
The purpose of the yoga of meditation is to concentrate the scattered mental thought in a small area of thought. The more a person is able to concentrate his mind, the more his mind radiates with energy. Like the arrow of the word, it is easy for him to achieve his goal. If spirituality is his goal, he will move spiritually and his psyche will radiate with what is called Riddhi-Siddhi or divine powers. If the goal is material progress, we will achieve this goal as well. In whatever appropriate direction this energy is used, it will reap good dividends.
Concentration/meditation means overcoming the unnecessary scattering of thought waves in our mind. By obstructing the water flow of a small stream, a dam is created and thus a small pond, lake
has been made. Then artificial streams are created from this lake which give water to the remote dry areas. If this stream was not converted into a dam, it would have hit the banks and caused floods in the surrounding areas. This will cause physical destruction in that area. The thought flow in our mind should be viewed as no less important than the hydroelectric generator. The power of an electric power station is limited and can deliver electricity to a very limited area in its vicinity. But the same cannot be said about the mind. Its capacity today can be increased infinitely in future. Its sphere of influence, which today is limited to family and friends, will in the future encompass the entire world.
Generally people of great authority such as scientists, philosophers, artists, scholars, sculptors, writers, managers, leaders etc. are like ordinary common man. Their body is very simple and their mind lacks a magic wand. The marvel of their greatness as well as whatever difference they see in them is the result of their intrinsic special qualities which in turn are related to their ability to concentrate their mind and their perseverance in reaching the desired goal. Everyone has an infinite amount of intellectual energy. To such an extent that even weak minded people have a lot of brilliance. The only difference is that some have activated this glow and the rest have not. A very intelligent person is also like a dead corpse when he is in deep sleep. But upon waking, he reveals his intellectual talent. This is also true for the brain. Due to certain circumstances the intellectual powers of some people remain hidden and thus appear to be intellectually weak. But if their intelligence is activated by effort, they will not only be as talented as other intelligent people but sometimes even surpass them.
Everyone knows that many threads joined together to form a strong rope and many brooms joined together to form a broom. Many drops of water make a jug of water. This example is given to acknowledge the fact that by inhibiting the scattering of intelligence, one can concentrate/focus their thought waves on a focal point. One can easily understand that the scattering of thoughts in different directions reduces our mental power and if these thoughts are concentrated on a single point, it will give us miraculous mental strength.
Proceeding with mental concentration, great scientists, yogis, philosophers etc. enter the deep sea called mind and thus collect priceless gems. Those who swim on the surface of the ocean get nothing, but those who dive deep, gain invaluable material. Superficial thinking is like a curved blade of grass that moves aimlessly here and there. On the other hand concentrating your thought waves on one point in the mind through meditation gives miraculous results.
